So if a police official at the airport says "What are you going to Amsterdam for?" and you use your right to silence, can they not let you on the plane? Or if you do tell them that you want to go to coffeeshops, can that have any legal consequences, even though it involves the Netherlands law, given that anything you say or do can be used against you in a court of law? And lying to a police officer is considered a crime. Not to mention that cops are really good at interviewing people. What is the best way to approach this situation?
