Just watched Sky News and Jeremy Hunt is warning of more sacrifices needed from the people which is echoed in other media outlets. Jeremy Hunt: 'We're all going to be paying a bit more tax' The Chancellor warns he will have to make 'very difficult decisions' to balance the books ahead of Autumn Statement I am not sure what more sacrifices the UK public should pay after 12 years of Tory failure . Slowest growth in comparison to rest of the G7 and therefore I dont buy the "Caused by the Ukraine War " argument .Reluctance to tax the greedy energy companies who have proffered through Russia's severing of energy supplies and not through investment decisions made at board level. Our 3rd PM with the last 2 not voted by the electorate . Thats not democracy and more chancellors of late more than I have had school dinners .This is no democracy and now they expect us to pay for their mess they have created Many families are already at breaking point and Food Banks are unable to meet demand .They have already made enough sacrifices . And now we are entering a winter of discontent with nearly every profession expecting to strike for more pay to survive in many cases . The Tories should therefore just do one right thing and go now and let someone else have a go at cleaning up their mess .
Finally, people are waking up to what I've been saying about these scumbag 'nasty sleaze party' members, accolytes and supporters for the past forty three years !!!
But how would anyone else suggest solving the problems without telling us a pack of lies. ??? For centuries our lifestyle has been at the cost of third world countries, but now the tables have turned.
He we have families struggling with cost of living Whilst Mat Hadcock is on around £400,000 for featuring in a family show . What a twit spelt with an"A" . " According to reports, Matt Hancock is being paid around £400,000 to take part in this year's I'm A Celeb. A source reportedly told The Sun, " ...
They're only laughing at us, because stupid bastards still believe the lies they spout and keep voting for them !!!
Nobody ever accused conservatives of caring more for people than concentrating wealth in their own pocketbooks…true across the globe.
Are they stealing elections? I cant see them being around next year if they do not legalize cannabis.
Okay I will give you guys a quick lesson in economics as to why yesterdays Budget Statement is just going to add fuel to the fire with a slowly ticking time bomb and why the OBR think we will be worse off as regards living standards . This supports the OBR findings and may help some of you under stand why the OBR came to their conclusion . If your a UK worker and without including any married allowances etc you will find the tax code 1257L for this year . This means that you can earn £12570 without having to pay any tax . So anything over that you would be taxed at 20% . Because the numpty chancellor decided to freeze any allowance increases for the next few years will mean any pay increase you get or pushing for eg the Postal Workers are going to get heavily taxed at 20% ie a 5th . This will mean to get a worthwhile pay increase for workers along with the support from their Unions will ask for even more to make it worthwhile . This will in effect place even more money into peoples pockets . This effect will increase inflationary pressures and undermine the Governments objective of tackling inflation . As you will know the Bank of England to curb inflation will increase interest rates again . This action will affect those with mortgages or other borrowings include business and stifle growth . Something this dumb ass Government keep harping on about . The effect of increased mortgage rates will make most people worse off again . And so you get a wage ,interest rate spiral . In other words we are heading for a winter of discontent and the Tory ratings will start tumbling once people start feeling the effects of their economics . A solution would have been to lower the 45 percent capture limit further and so the rich and better off would pay more and also to raise the lower end and to take more people out of the tax equation . That would place less pressure on the need to take a larger pay rise and ultimately help to cool inflationary pressures. Sorry for the boring economics class but it may help to understand the situation the population finds itself in after more Tory meddling .
Being a Conservative even I think they should go. But to be replaced by useless Labour who left a note for the new Conservative government chancellor 12 years ago. It said that there is no money left. So o.k. Nothing has changed. But the country would be in a far worse mess if Labour would have carried on. I hope Nigel Farage starts a new political party. I would vote for that. In the meantime I will vote for no one, except perhaps the Reform party.
Where is Nigel Farage now? On 6 March 2021 Farage announced in an interview with The Telegraph that he was retiring from politics and resigning as leader of Reform UK. He became the party's honorary president.
Some of the times Boozy when it comes to the finances , its a case of whose economics stacks up regardless of the party . The Tory economics on this occasion just dont add up . Things will just get worse as far as I can see .
You can say THAT again Captain! Mind you. I remember when Labour where last in power, their economics didn't add up either. I have lost faith in pretty much all Politicians. They al, might have had the best Eton educations and all that, so supposedly very brainy. Perhaps so. But do any of them have any common sense? Nope! Most of them don't. Except for Nigel Farage. Irrespective of what he said in 2021. You mark my words. He WILL come back into politics and perhaps start a new party. Do you watch FARAGE on GB News every night at 7.00PM except Friday/Saturday/Sunday? I do. Brilliant show!
He is too far right for me . My politics are left of centre . Regardless of being left or right the economics have to stack up as they affect everyone form the poorest to the richest .If the political party regardless of their trait get the economics right , Then the markets will be happy and the average guy on the street . The way the ecomomic policies lie at the moment , its people like me the middle income types that are going to get hit the worst. We are the types that can swing from party to party when it comes to voting . At the moment the Tories would lose because many of the middle income voters wouldnt want the economics as set by the Chancellor . Many would vote red and the poles are reflecting this .
