We are slowly killing our enviroment, in which we live...and if we continue to move on a track of blind carelessness, we will kill off the only thing that is beautiful.

What do you think? It can be about anything, enlighten us.

We are becoming so self-absorbed that it will eventually spell the death of civilisation. Humans have begun to really dislike one another on the most basic level - think road rage, air rage, queue rage, shopping trolley rage, etc. - in other words, for the most inane, undeserved reasons. It's as if people are starting to wish humans (apart from themselves of course) just weren't around. I shudder to think how this is going to progress in the future if it's left to continue.

Yeah, well we actually don't rely on them, the people in power would rather not spend time and money on that, instead they'd rather conquer.
But hey, what can you do?

i think the biggest and most dangerous threat to human kind is our way of thinking and lack of respect for one another.the reason this is such a big threat to us is because over time our peace and kindness towards each other have slowly decreased to the point that its almost inreversible.my point is that no one takes into consideration other peoples feelings from rude or inconsiderate comments to phisicaly hurting them or humiliating them in public.i mean how uplifting and enlightening would it be to live in a world free from this mental curruption and to feel welcome and comfortable wherever you go without running into any negative situations.this is the main reason why ive become a believer in the hippie movement in hopes of bettering the world for generations to come and for us currently living in it.so if any of you other people agree with my statements some methods i would reccomend to do your part in the hippie movement is to first of all tolerate other people you interact with and try not to cause any negative karma.at first tolerating others might be very hard but keep in mind that if you decide to participate in the negative karma around you it will just make matters worse and it eventually becomes a chain reaction that in turn creates more negative karma than there was before and further decreases your peace of mind and well being.also if your in an uncomfortable situation some techniques i reccomend are if someones centering you out and being rude to you consider that the reason they are centering you out is because of there own dissettlement and there fear of possibly getting centured out themselves.also if your getting feelings of anxiety i good way to get rid of them is to instead of trying to hide the feeling or ignore it look into the very essence of the feeling and why it arose and it in turn will lose its power and fade away bringing about a calming peace of mind and wellbeing.

hope my tips aid some of you to happiness and well being.:)

One of my professors brought up a good point in a lecture the other day. She said that back when Psychology first got big that they did some sort of experiement where they had rats in a maze. They added rat after rat to the maze until they finally found a certian number of rats caused a breaking point where they all went crazy. Supposibly the point of the experiment proved that when too many people are stuffed together (in our case a too tightly jammed society) people will go crazy. My professor said we are quickly reaching that point not only in our particular sociecty today, but in the world. Someone above mentioned road rage and all that...sure signs of this.

I thought a bit about this whole thing and I believe that because we are becoming so much more tightly packed its causing us to become more individualistic, which in turn causes us to think less about the environment, overall resources, and each other. I honestly believe if the population keeps growing as it is, we will one day destroy ourselves due to lack of resources and the increasing craziness of a tighly packed race of humans on an Earth that isnt going to get any bigger. Some might survive, but life on Earth will never be the same.

Ah. We are so of the earth, our bodies are made of it, our souls of the inifinite stars. How we can destroy that which is ourselves, to me is like an act of cutting your own feet off...

From what i gather... in non judgemental connatation, the antichrist has inhabited the earth, christ as some in india and throughout the world call Krishna, is but the apidme of our consiousness as human individuals.. The corporate brainwash system, (the words here, are my attempt to put this entity into terms, but only cover a small fascade of this global internal and external and beyond, entity, which inhabits our present collective vibration), to me is anti this supreme consiousness. And then this would lead me to conclude, along with many many other things... that we are moving into, as the prophecies of the hopi indians call "the fifth world". Basically a consiousness shift, a shift of the ages. And to me.. depending on where each individual is, in their state of being determines waht shall become of them, when the magnetic field around the earth falls, and our frequency of perception rises, as it has been, until we hit the zero point of this crossing. As all the ancient texts point this time. We are stepping in between the worlds right now. and it is my understanding, that maya, withdrawls her energy for this, She is plentiful and glorious, we will have draughts, and our fundamental resources will depleat... Until we see within ourselves, our entirety... which, i feel, is soon. Round about, 2012.

It's a form of meditation he's been reading about. From what I understand it's mindfulness meditation, similar to vipassanna.
