I am an English teacher. And I dont care for math. I think they should spend less time on it in school, since such a small percentage ever end up actually applying it in their lives.
I used to tutor physics my freshman year of college-no joke I am-well used to be a savant. I am taking a marine bio class now and the prof was amazed that I got all the physics right on my test.
English! I adore writing, I love the English language. Math I'm okay at, but I haven't been as good ever since the fifth grade, when all of a sudden they started using letters for numbers.
I would not be a good english tutor. Thank god for grammar check. I still contemplate in my head I or me...who or whom. I have a mom who corrects my grammar so it has always been a complex with me.
haha, marc that made me giggle oh im a math retard!! poor kid would get so confused. so definitly english, its what i minor in at school so i best be good at it.
english...im bad at math but i started reading when i was 3...in 6th grade, i had the reading level of a 10h grader.
I'm terrible when it comes to math. I just can't understand it no matter how hard I try. So I'm sure I'd do better in English even though it's not my first language.
That's so true!! I'd make a much better math tutor...I like math anyway, and living here in the south has left my english language skills forever traumatized.
english..... i still wonder if being an english teacher is what i was meant to do.....there's just something about being an english teacher that i've always fancied..... i could do the math....i've always excelled in it...i just don't like doing it....its boring to me....
I done thunk about this one lots. I have tutored math, and it was fun. But, English is my best subject. I ain't never got lower than a B, throughout school. So that is about it.
Definately english. I used to read alot as a kid so alot of concepts in english just came easily to me. Now after using the internet, though, my grammar skills have been shot to hell. Never was good in math, but math is so deep with so much potential in number theories and such, so anyone who has a real grasp on it I admire.
