I am planning to move to England in a few years, after I am done with my school here. Can you guys tell me great things about it? P.S. I will be the first person in my family to go back to England. We have been in America since the 1600's.
Be warned...it rains a lot And you'll have to start drinking tea But there's some really beautiful scenery and some lovely beaches
English people all have bad breath and say bloody an awful bloody lot... SharyBobbins vbmenuyou ever been to the UK?
We all live in Castles, know the Queen, and have met that person you are related to when they came over here, and all do this at weekends....
We drink proper beer in proper sized pints - watch proper football matches, and we all talk proper Oh and we drive on the right side of the road!
Ooh, here's a handy hint. If someone says they're 20 yrs old and still at school then they sound silly over here. School finishes at 16, after which we have college and university. School in the UK is very much considered to be for children (although just to conufuse you, we have universities call such things as "The London School of Economics"..... but of course people who attend there would never dream of saying they were still at school!).
I mean college. I am going to Berry College in Rome, GA then University of Florida for graduate school. After that I plan to move to England.
My story is really sad. I have been to Alabama, Florida, North and South Carolina and Virgina. Never outside the Southern States or on an airplane.
Is it true that 55% of the USA population don't have a passport, and some significant number can't point to their own country on a world map? Rome, eh? I've got a friend going out to do the 3rd year of her maths degree over there. Ha cazzo ragione! (come gli scousers dicono qui in Inghilterra).
Rome, Georgia USA I don't have a passport. Alot of americans don't. Only those who travel alot have one. We all can point to our country on the map though, It's the country sandwiched between Canada and Mexico.
