If you're engaged/married and you have a ring, what's it like?

And generally, what style of engagement rings do you people like?

 

I have a 3.5 karat on white gold. There is on 1karat diamond in the middle and a bridge of quarter karat diamonds along the side. I love it!

 

I just have a quarter carat diamond in 14 carat gold with 2 small diamonds on either side. I rarely wear it. Not a jewerly fan, and I don't like wearing extremely expensive stuff at all.

That's what ours look like. No diamonds, just sterling silver. They were roundabout $45 or so as a pair on eBay. I'll worry about a stone when I have my wedding ring.

Its not about bein changed, I just like that comfortable love. The best thing about love is that you are two indviduals and love each other for that reason.

the ring I used to wear was small.. delicate.. white gold, with a tiny square diamond.

I don't care how expensive it is or how big the stone is.. it's the symbol that counts. an asshole who'll cheat on you may have gotten you the biggest most expensive ring in the jewelry store.. just like the person who will love you and be true to you forever may have never even married you.

Princess cut, cathedral setting. Single stone at least one carat ... preferably two or three. White gold or platinum.

Of course, if I had my choice I'd go with something a little different. Probably something antique. Nothing as modern as the ring I'd likely buy. Princess cathedral is nice, but not my style. AT ALL.

 

I don't want an engagement ring. I want a wedding ring, and I don't like diamonds. I'd rather have something custom made for my partner and myself.
