Hello hipforumers, I am new :)

As I just recently read this thread about synchronicities, I decided to sign up and post my findings and thoughts about some properties of Psilocin/Psilocybin.

After I have gone from using mushrooms for the need of mystikal and spiritual guidance and revelations, to a rather frequent low-dose integration in my social routines, the idea of a certain energy that is being emit by myself when I am under the influence of the chemical cocktail in mushrooms, became more and more apparent and logical.
Most of the femals I have met, when on a low-dose of mushrooms, (without them knowing, of course) seem to be considerably more enamored of me than of other guys around, but without a mentionable change in my behavior - compared to sober. This was proven by me asking 4 different girls, who I found seemed more drawn to me after a mushroom-fueled conversation than usually, and every single one stating that I appeared somehow more mysterious and interesting. But no one could name it specifically. Now these were all particularly low-dose experiences, most of the time in combination with alcohol (vodka).
Also there is this obvious observation numerous people have made, about animals 'sensing' that one is in an altered state of consciousness.
It strikes me as really blatant that there is a form of energy emission occuring, and I feel there is great need to understand thoughts as possible sources of energy.

Now the link I draw to synchronicities, as described by C.G. Jung, is that these events do happen on more frequent basis, when one has taken a psychedelic. Maybe Grof is right with his 'collective consciousness' as a form of layer, existing and beeing a possible link between the world of thought and our 'real' (ha!) world. And maybe, it is possible to somehow influence the 'real' world by having certain control over the collective consciousness, leading to synchronicities. In my findings only mushrooms share this unique power of creating synchroniced events and possibly energy emission.

But one has to be extremely cautious when talking about such a subject, and even more so, when trying to declare a thesis about things, that exceed the narrow boundaries of an ignorant person's everyday life.

Well folks, what do you think? I came here because I hope to find more openminded and knowledgable people to talk to. There are unfortunately not many people in my circle of friends who see the potential and power of altered states of consiousness.. :(

Well, I think the word energy in this case, is giving a vague name to what also can also be considered higher awareness. Everything is energy, and energy is everything, so of course when you eat mushrooms and turn on, your going to be plugging into more awareness, because your A.) taking a CNS stimulant and B.) temporarily shutting down the filters which block your senses and your thought receptivity from the constant bombardment of data hitting us at all times.
    Here's my point of view,
Synchronicity is naturally going to become a state of awareness, rather then a reflection on recent events which would normally be brushed off as coincidental, when and after we eat mushrooms. It is my opinion that there is no synchronicity, but rather that we are for the most part oblivious to the reality that we are not in any way in control; that we are just part and parcel to the force of Life itself as it unfolds, and here and there a 'glitch' happens where that state is exposed and seems to be divinely guided.
I've noticed that when I have these moments of realization, it does not feel as if I am witnessing a synch, but that I am part of the cosmic happening; that I am a result of the stars wish to look back at themselves and nothing more, and nothing less.
It is all perfect, but it is us who wish differently. Why? That's the million dollar question that truly is not worth answering.

Hmm I don't think alcohol does not contribute at all, but usually when going out people are at least tipsy, so that shouldn't be the cause.

I guess it is true that the human urge to change things is actually useless and completely insignificant in the big picture. I somehow dislike this aspect of realisation that is brought to me by mushrooms every time. Because it lets me view life as nothing more than a little chess game god (or who/what ever) is playing in his lunch break with his nerd friend. And no matter which figures stand in the end or if there even is a checkmate, as soon as lunch time is over or the game gets too boring they will just put it back into the package.

Well I thought about what you said maybe you are right, maybe psychedelics don't let us influence the ocurrence of synchronicities but simply put us in a state of higher awareness

i agree with relayer, synchronicity is not an abberant behaviour in the system of the universe that catches my attention as an outlier to all 'regular' events, but simply my own increased perception of the fact that this entire Universe (capital U to indicate even everything 'outside' of the known 'universe') is one giant amoebic-like organism that is pulsing and writhing and dancing as one. For some reason we are not ALWAYS in this state of affairs and most often are oblivious to it and actually think 'i' am THIS little parcel of flesh and THIS little opinion and THIS little emotion . . . Mind fluxes in waves like energy just like everything else, those times are just low amplitude imo

but even on a very surface level there are explanations for this phenomenon; you are experiencing ego-softening, which displays outwardly and contentment, peace, bliss, and self-confidence. This last term is almost tongue in cheek, because technically it is self-redefinement which is going on, but once your self is redefined into the context of the Great Amoeba, you realize there is nothing to be scared of and you are in the holiest nirvana imaginable. This radiates outwards into the cognitive system of some females, who interpret the very basic and clunky facts of 'good eye contact' 'pleasant strong smile' 'good solid posture' and things like this and churn out, with their lower-level mind (for presumably they know not this level we speak of) that you are simply more of a 'man' and thus their biological reproductive drive gives them the answer of 'this one is good.' Alcohol has the same effect but from a different direction; alcohol strengthens THIS instance of Self, ie Ego, and removes social inhibitions as a very surface level thing. The combination of both of these substances and their input into your mind results in an output that is simply extremely easy to interpret by females as attraction.
