empty or full stomach?

im taking two vicodin 5/500 tonight and i was wondering if they would work better on an empty sotmach or a full one

needless to say i am unexperienced with opiates

 

the opiates would work better with a empty stomach, hit harder and faster, the only problem is the apap, personally it causes really bad stomach pain if i havent eaten, are you doing a cold water extraction? (not really needed for this little amount but always a good idea)

 

You can take them on an empty stomach or after eating a bit. I doubt this will do much... if anything at all. There isn't enough hydrocodone or apap in those to make you nauseous.

Hopefully you'll notice some subtle relaxation.

 

I thought this was like a glass half empty/full kinda question. I will go with stomach being full, but only to my interpretation of the subject, not the actual content.

 

I always take them with an empty stomach.

 

I like to do some oc about 15 minutes before eating my first meal of the day. You get that good empty stomach rush then get to mellow it out with some food.

 

I find it great with a cup of coffee on an empty stomach. Any opiate hits great that way! Even better, drink a glass of grapefruit juice an hour before to make the feeling last longer.

 

Hell yeah thats one of my fav for the morning taking some OC and just relaxing drinking a cup of coffee thats the best way to start out a day

 

I always (actually like 90% of the time) do oxy at night, and only once on a full stomach. honestly, I thought that the empty stomach would make a huge difference but it was minimal.

 

Oxycodone works better on an empty stomach if you are eating it. I never noticed a difference when snorting it, because it absorbs a little differently.

Oxymorphone on the other hand, is MUCH stronger when taken on a full stomach, preferably after eating a meal that has lots of fat content.

 

The only thing is, sometimes I get nauseous when I take pills on an empty stomach.

 

Try eating right as they hit you? That has worked for me.

Yeah, it depends on the type of opiate I am on, and the dosage. Sometimes I would like nothing more then to get up, drive 5 min down to the mall, and get some bomb ass chinese food from the mall.

Side note: why do malls have the BEST fucking chinese food?

I take it on an empty stomach. Hits harder/faster. Then once you start feeling it, eat something. that will kick it in even harder. Does anyone know the reason for that? I always figured it was because the presence of food in your system speeds up your metabolism which in turn speed up the how quickly the pill is being metabolized. Can anyone clarify this for me? Thanks.

 

I always recomend a full stomach (for any pill). Though it would be stronger on an empty stomach.

 

me too. hence why i tend to lose some weight when i go on a long binge.

 

I guess that's the case all over florida, because I love going to Dolphin Mall for their Cajun Chinese food, and when I lived in Orlando for almost 2 years, I would drive a good 15-20minutes almost weekly for the same reason, to eat at the mall cafeteria, and they had all types of food at these cafeterias, but I always eat the same thing.
