    Empty Drinkers

    Be grateful for what's missing,
For if the glass were not half empty,
    You, would still be thirsty.
While, if it were still full,
    You would be empty!
If the glass, started out only half full,
You're not, getting your money's worth!
Ask not, what a simple drink can do for you,
But, can you possibly accommodate yet another drink?
Keeping in mind, the ground is always there to catch you,
And its hard, so don't drink any salt-water, piss, and vinegar!

This is a silly poem, but it covers a subject people like to joke about. Alcohol is involved in some 80% of violent crimes, and being able to joke about it, while still encouraging people to be responsible is important.

    Framed:

Well I was hauling logs ten years ago
The news was out on the radio
That a shot was fired the night before
And a local man lay dead on the floor
Now the dust was flying in the lumber yard
Lights were flashing on two black cars
I said Sheriff I ain't done nothing wrong..
He knocked me and put the handcuffs on..

    I was framed

They took me away like I was the only one to blame
    Framed
Guilty they said, rail roaded my on a one way train
    Framed
And on judgement day they want me to hang my head in shame
    But I was framed
Now that's all I'll say so don't be running down my name..

    Framed..

Barbara Joe cried through the glass
At the murder trial I seen her last
I loved that woman but now she's free
She turned away once they sentenced me
And the guilty mans name was never told
Ten years later they put me on the road
And I'll always say that I got screwed
I'm the same old man with the same attitude..

    Framed

Now the guilty man paid long ago
He's the same man that got layed low
When he took my wife he was hell bound
And even if I did gun him down..

    I was framed.
