They will bear the brunt from seemingly 'good people' there is no crime that can be committed against an Emo that isn't considered funny. People from all walks love to let their 'shadows' run rampant at the thought of 'Emo's' suffering.

In this sense do Emo's not bear the sins of the world?

    Just a Random Thougt.

P.S. i hope this thread dies quicker then an emo with razors for chirstmas.

Actually many of them can be very poor, but choose to spend what little they have on fashion. Whatever, not my concern. They are just good to make fun of because they take themselves so seriously. Plus, the music they listen to is utter fucking trash. Also, many seem to be quite fucking dense in those groups.

I think it is more then 'just making fun' for alot of people, i hear people say the most graphic and fucked up shit just because some one is "Emo' i dont get it myself.

Like seriously otherwise normal people talking about killing and torchering these people as a joke but it is fucking sick and shows a complete lack of their understanding of their shadow.

I even heared some one laugh because an Emo chick got murdered but to many it wasn't funny it was just murder.

Well, anything like that I strongly disagree with.
Just poking at the ones that seem to so desperately want attention. NO excuse for being outright cruel though.

    Emo myths. Taken from http://kids.lovetoknow.com/wiki/Emo_Kid

    1. All emos are depressed and suicidal. While radical behavior changes may be a cause for concern, the emo style embraces self-reflection and introspection that can be misinterpreted as childhood depression. In reality, while many emos are withdrawn, they are often just shy or uncertain about how to express themselves openly.
    2. All emos are “cutters.” Self-mutilation is a dangerous stereotype to apply to any group, and parents and peers should not judge an individual’s behavior based on his or her appearance or preferences.
    3. Emos do drugs. While many individuals experiment with illegal substances, it is impossible to judge someone’s potential for abuse based on what clothes he or she wears or the music he or she listens to.
Emos are homosexuals. Just like with depression or drug abuse, it is impossible to judge an individual’s sexual orientation based on his or her personal style

^ lol, nice. I don't like emo's, they just try so hard to look like they don't care, it's lame. I saw a group of 13 year olds kids, girls and boys, they all were wearing black, had red strips in their hair, couple of skate boards, smoking, hanging out on a corner in the city.

I don't know why, but they just really annoy me when I looked at them. Glad that emo shit didn't start till after I left school.

nope. sadly they both are real, and both all over jersey

I can't imagine caring enough to go out and buy all the accessories needed to be 'emo' or a 'guido' or a 'punk' or whatever else.

    then again, I hate shopping.

i used to live with a "punk." i must say that is probably the most hypocritical philosophy i've seen, although i'm apparently somewhat sheltered too.
