And it just wants to make you pull out your hair when radio presenters refer to it as punk rock and heavy.

never heard of him, i know it's definately dashboard confessional because my sister listens to it all the time.

does joel mayher sing about how his girlfriend and him broke up and are now getting back together whilst playing acoustic guitar?

Im with you on that. I love funeral for a friend but not a huge emo fan. I know taking back sunday and dashboard confessional are both emo and theyre not really my thing. Im still not entirely sure what the difference between emo and pop punk is tho! they both sound the same - supposedly catchy tunes ,and whiney teenage sounding singers, and songs that are full of "emotion". They both sound the same to me. No offence to emo fans out there!

    peace and love

i seriously dislike emo. where i live being/dressing emo's the "hip thing to do." so now when u walk around every other person's either emo, or a wanna be gangter. it's sooooooooooooooo lame.

Dressing emo, is sorta like dressing like a skater, but combining it with black clothes and some punk styles.
