So a friend gave me a bunch of tortillas she had that she was not going to use, and I've found some good uses for them...one of which being the following. Put some butter in a frying pan, and after it melts, add a tortilla. Move it around so it gets covered in the butter. Flip over, repeat. I usually flip it a few times until it starts to bubble, then add cinamon and sugar to both sides. Then eat! Careful, it's hot.
I do almost the same thing except I use Pita bread. I brush the pita bread with melted butter, add cinnamon and sugar and put in the over at 350 for about 5 minutes. Delicious!
if you brush them with butter and then bake with vrown sugar on top it's quite good. . . Bake at 375 until it looks like caramel on top
Mmm, I'll have to try that. It seems like it would be less likely to burn in the oven. I love Pita Bread...thanks for reminding me to get some.
