Yes, I love this kind of music too. In fact, I'm playing some myself (got a new keyboard with all the styles you mentioned). Tons of bass voices too.

I listen to web radio so I get to hear lots of stuff.

Funny thing is, now that I have this keyboard I can see how easy it is to duplicate most of the house music out there.

I now know most of it is done on a keyboard, by one person, unless there's some singer, then it's more likely two or three ppl.

All the styles and voices are available, all it takes is choosing what to use and arranging it (which does take some talent).

My keyboard also has a dj setup with all sorts of effects and patterns. I'm now learning to master the arpeggiator which seems to be used more and more these days...

Back in the day, we would get paid to come in and record house loops. They would pay us outright , thus buying all rights to do as they pleased with it. Today, when I lay bass tracks for peeps, they will often send a joint track or raw track, which I will listen to wile I record an iso.
and send it back. Sometime later, I will recieve a master. Lol I will tell you, its amazing how they can turn a mediocre quality into a pretty decent recording eith the software they have now!
