awesome game. together with stalker, possibly best 2 games ive ever played in my entire life. apart from toy story 2 on psx, syphon filter 1 and 2, mgs 1, and the world is not enough on ps1. but these are old school, today rpg's have evolved into such awesome games. i really want to get into an mmorpg, i found WOW shit after 3 weeks of gameplay, im thinking lord of hte rings online
i was on the beta test for lotro which was ok but i didnt buy it when it was released. I think if you love the lord of the rings universe you will love it. These MMO's are worth looking at (neither released yet) http://www.ageofconan.com/en/index.html http://www.warhammeronline.com/english/home/index.php by the way oblivion is great and stalker aswell
oblivion is on its way to my house from amazon at the moment. anyone have any things you wish you had done at the beginning that you can't do now? I beat Morrowind GOTY edition a few years ago, and loved it so much. then I waited, watched oblivion come out, and waited until I had enough cash to buy oblivion. now I'm stoked cause I'm about to start gaming it again.
kill umbra and get her gear, i done it by accident during my first hour of gameplay while just exploring and finding a dugeon, after much later reading the guides i discovered everyone recomends hear gear as almost best items. u get full set of ebony armour and umbra sword with 120sec of soul drain. also buy gloves of the astronach and not sure where but try to find boots of the astronach too, thse things comibed are for champs hehe, all in all enjoy one of the greatest games to this date also im playing kotor 2 atm, i would greatly reccomend both star wars knights of the old republic, and its sequel the sith lords - amazing story and great hours of gameplay, if you know of torrents, i would advise to download it- i rarely buy pc games anymore myself just indulge in the good broadband speed and its capabilities
well i could tell you where to find umbra in morrowind (quite possibly my favorite game ever, so far). unfortunately, i don't plan on getting a next-gen system for at least another year, and my pc isn't powerful enough to handle oblivion, so i'm kind of fucked for a while in that respect
not a fan of oblivion, i gotta say. the controls/angle/somethign made me feel really sick playing it, ugh. what a waste of my money
Oblivion is great, but it can barely be called an RPG. Oblivion is just a mixture of action-adventure and FPS. Morrowind was one of the last great RPGs ever released.
