John Ehrlichman, Richard Nixon's counsel for Domestic Affairs admitted in a recently published 22 year old interview that the war on drugs was concocted to counter blacks and hippies.

Of course we all knew that anyway.

Ehrlichman was convicted of conspiracy, obstruction of justice, and perjury as a result of the Watergate scandal. He served a year and a half in prison and died in 1999.

    We sure did.

And before that, FDR's marihuana tax act and prohibition of opium had racist intentions as well

Amazing when you consider that Republicans (and conservatives) STILL view blacks and "hippies" as their enemies.

Nothing has changed, except you can now add muslims and mexicans to their enemy list.

    This IS America!

Racism is alive and well and lives in the hearts of Republicans (and others, of course)
