I had two EEG's in 1986 at local hospital. A regular one and a sleep-deprivation one. And a CAT scan. The neurologist said the only thing they showed was that I might have a slight seizure tendency.

My neurologist told me in 2011 that I seem to have some form of Cerebral Palsy. And he tells me that he doesn't see any signs of a seizure tendency in any of my tests.

How sensitive were EEG's in 1986? Could they detect full-blown Cerebral Palsy? What about slight cases of Cerebral Palsy? What would they have shown at all?
