I like it. It doesn't make me cry, but I do enjoy it. I LOVE Johnny Depp. Even in this film all fucked up looking, he's still hot.

Funny how you never see the 2 of them at the same place at the same time...
I agree this was Tim Burton's best film. But for some reason, I can only see it once.

TIM BURTON IS A GOD! I love Tim Burton, his films have been a huge inspiration to me as a filmmaker. Johnny Depp is awesome, and I like all the different roles Burton has cast him in.

Edward Scissorhands is a wonderful movie, but I usually turn it off before the end. I usually cry and I hate crying at movies.

BD, you're a filmmaker? Q-el. We need more films inspired by Burtonesque fantasy, colors, humor & oddness. All the (popular) films today seem to be more interested in the latest cgi effects, rather than simple stuff like color. Big Fish was pretty cool too, but not as intense as ES.

I love the film process and films in general. I can't remember a time when Movies weren't one of my top priorities. I too found that many modern movies lack a certain style. A director truly has immense control, and which the right direction, something amazing can be made.

My favourite Tim Burton film is Nightmare Before Christmas. I just love the imaginative nature. Sleepy Hollow and Beetlejuice thrill me, too. Mars Attacks, Planet of the Apes, and Big Fish didn't have the same effect on me. While they weren't necessarily 'bad' films, I feel Burton was neglecting himself on direction.

Corpse Bride (his new clayanimation film) is sure to be incredible, though.

while i agree that tim burton is a good director and johnny depp is a brilliant actor, films are not magically made good simply by having a dark, gothic feel to them and being full of johnny 'sugar flavoured' depp.

johnny depp is not the best part of the film at all. if i had to marry (which will never happen) johnny depp as himself or him as edward- edward would win. i love the hair most!!!!!!!!!!!
