Again, there's plenty pot does without thc, (As I said before you barged in-the other cannabinoids are, in fact, active, you're the one who said that a whole plant wouldn't get one high) but most medical use is as an analgesic, and for this, you DO want THC. I'm diabetic. I used to know another diabetic smoker. Both of us have experienced dramatically increased insulin tolerance associated with pot, likely due to CNS deperession I think. It may lower blood sugar in non-diabetics, which I expect is the pancreas being kicked into high gear because of the increased resistance to insulin. This is not to say it is a problem to be diabetic and smoke, it tends to make blood sugar more easy to handle, more predictable, but when smoking heavily I require between 140 and 200 percent my non-smoking insulin doses, and this makes smoking *some* un-healthy, because it throws things off, but just as you adjust, they're back to normal if you stop smoking. My hands hurt and I forget where I am. Will return to check thread progress later.
Is there something wrong with the way they grow cannabis.. That now you have to smoke it thru some fancy pieces and keep the resin and eat it. Could be possible to save all your bong water in a bath tub and just soak in it.
Only can be? I'm sort of insulted. But I do resent people who are high and mighty, and contribute while ignoring all the people explaining that they're plain wrong. In closing: Cult, I DARE you to juice a harvest-ready, high quality cannabis plant, drink that juice, and not get so high you puke and can't stand up. Since you're so sure it will do nothing and all.....
Roor .. . I dare me too . .. I have to acquire some fresh green to do so. I don't believe I was being high and mighty about anything though. I don't post on things that I don't know about. If I don't know, I don't say anything. As I mentioned, I have read a lot on it, just as any patient should research any medicine that they've been prescribed. And I have yet to test this wonderful theory I had going there. Being diabetic as well, and with one MI under my belt and BP issues, I was looking forward to trying fresh squeezed. All the reading, from all the places, from all the sources pointed that way. It all made complete sense, or so I thought. I'll be glad to let you know what happens. and it takes a hell of a lot to make me puke. damned high tolerance gets in the way every time. Peace
So sorry I offended. Let me compliment you as you deserve: RooR is a non-stop raging dickhead. KIDDING. I actually kinda like you, buddy. Peace to you both.
RooR, I feel like you're going a little hard on the new guy. He seems to be very well informed. In fact, I think most of what has been said in this thread is in agreement, but it all seems so argumentative. Can't we all just get along
