let me emphasize.....this soup is so EASY to make..... Lentil Soup (Soup) 1 package lentils 1 pkg. frozen chopped spinach 1 1-lb bag of baby carrots 3 stalks of celery, sliced 2 onions, chopped 1 12-oz can of tomato sauce salt, pepper to taste Wash and rinse lentils. Put in large dutch oven and fill to 3/4 full. Add package of chopped spinach. (still frozen is okay) . Add all other ingredients, bring to a boil, turn down heat to simmer for 2 hours.
mmm... lentils.... I like getting those mix bags of dry lentils and beans and boiling them up with a couple cans of vegetable stock and stuff from the garden... it's awesome.
