Have been planning on it since I first heard about it, but I'm taking it even further and switching the main breaker to the house off for an hour.

 

does it count if we already had 11 hours of no power at my house since last night? haha. I found that site the other day and i spread the word...i'll be going dark at 8:30

 

its going to be so romantically mysterious to stay on candles. I haven`t done that in such a long time. Now thinking of it i am sure i will turn off the lights

No thanks, I will do my own thing and not mindlessly follow the masses as they blindly follow the trends while the people pushing the agenda contradict what they are pushing on the naive masses.

I refuse to take part. Humans have little effect on the earth and it will be here long after we are gone.

I choose to keep whatever lights I have on, on.

 

This has no real relevance to energy conservation but I will do it for the symbolism of wanting/willing to change to a more earth friendly society.

yay earth hour, lets make up for all the the other hours where we are excessively wasteful by staying in the dark for one full hour...wow. cause you know, everyone else is and everyone told me to do it..and stuff.

Aye. I actually joked that I was going to turn EVERYTHING on, but really, that would just be way more work than it would be worth, not to mention, I do have to pay the electric bill at some point. Haha.

 

When the power goes off, don't you hate using your computer by candlelight?

 

I'm gonna turn on all the lights and fire up the welder while cooking a turkey in the oven and running the clothes washer and dryer and taking a long hot shower
