what can I do for ear infection?? I've tried garlic oil, clove, silver, ear candels,and some other stuff. What do you use??
You can make a solution of Alcohol and vinegar. It helps to dry the ear and makes it unhospitable to bacteria. If your ear is in a lot of pain, though, I would see a doctor first. If you want to make the alcohol/vinegar solution, use 70% isopropyl rubbing alcohol and white distilled vinegar. Mix a solution of equal parts (ie, half alcohol, half vinegar, or 1/2 cup alcohol & 1/2 cup vinegar). Place about 3 drops or so into the affected ear 3 times a day. If it gets worse or does not start to improve within 3 days, see a doctor.
you know, I heard something about oil actually, along the lines that nothing can live in oil, but that does'nt seem very realistic.
The alcohol and vinegar works, but it's much safer if it is brought as a drug in a farmecy. I have had ear infections since I was born...what I usually take are alot of anti-biotics (only if it is truly painful, anti-biotics can damage you just as much as they help you). Ear drops have neer helped me, but you could try them... Go to a doctor, and get antibiotics perscribed.
Are you sure it's an infection? I was convinced I had an infection a while back, and the doc was like...no, there' just some fluid trapped in there from your allergiess. I took some Claritin, hot showers, sudafed, and I was good.
thank you all I'm getting better. yesterday I had a fever and I continued to take lots of liquid silver, C, and mom gave me some head stuff. To day I woke up and I can hear again: ) I'm so happy yet not being able to hear puts a different perspective on life. I kind of liked it but it made it hard to work with a head set on, answering phones, customers and my little ocean. Thanks again every one love Honey!!
