How many of you have read Edgar Allen Poe's Eureka? I would love to hear some feedback about your take on it. I think that it is without a doubt the finest piece of work that Poe ever wrote. It can't really be labeled as any one specific genre of writing. It's a combination of a poem and essay as well as other things. Reading Eureka will make you realize just how much of a genius Poe really was if you didn't already know.

I figured more people would have read it than that.

Edgar Allan Poe was an amazing man and took poetry to a whole new level. His poems were horrifying, and at the same time beautiful. I like the short story The Oval Portrait, and The Raven.
