I've heard a lot of great things about this 1997 Dylan comeback, and I'm thinking of picking it up. His voice sounds kinda scary/cool nowadays!

  2. people always bash his voice but i love it. besides even if you dont dig the raspiness, then just focus on what he's singing because don't nobody write lyrics like bobby..

it's the production (daniel lanois) that is amazing... daniel lanois is one of the best producers in this world in my humble opinion, als checkout his solo albums, especially his first two, 'acadie' and 'for the beauty of wynona'

Definitly one of Dylan's best, and by far the best since 75's Blood on the Tracks.

  8. I've heard it in its entirety, it is awesome, I loved it but if your on a budget wait until Modern Times comes out and then compare cause there saying that thats one of his best yet. thats what im doing anyhow

There are always people who are going to hate on his voice. My mom says he sings like a goat...hehe. This is one of my favorite Dylan records. Dont wait until modern times comes out. Buy it, then save up the ten bucks, do it in quarters if you have to. I always belive in chronology if its possible.

Buy Time Out of Mind at whatever price you can; it will be worth it I guarantee you. It's the perfect example of that VERY rare thing; a 60s musician who has still 'got' every ounce of whatever they had, and shows an incredible amount of maturity rarely seen in music.
