so i just bought gta: san andreas, and on the box it says pc dvd rom, but i only have a cd rom... is there a way to make it work without a dvd-rom?
if the disk is a dvd, u cant read it with a cd-rom but if the software isn't copy protected, u can make an image on another computer and use the image on your computer (this will require a network or a removable harddisk) hope u find this helpful regards
Hiker is right. You have to have a DVD drive. That is because of the lasers on the CD-R/W or CD-Rom drive aren't strong enough to read the density of a DVD disk.
