In regards to painting, I don't know how to make hot pink... like really bright hot pink... I tried mixing magenta with white and adding red but its not the right color... I just wanna work on my painting but I can't go any further til I can make hot pink! So umm if you know how to mix neon colors that would be awesome, thank you.. Making neon colors is always hard.. Sorry for just asking a question and not showing work... I'll show you my painting when I'm done if people answer!!
I dont know the real words for the colors but the softer red/white, find a pink, then add dabs of the sharper yellow. or maybe soft red/sharp yellow then the white.
Assuming you just have the basics in terms of paints and don't already own a pre-made pink, I would probably mix my red and white, form your basic pink and then add a very small bit of yellow, and keep on adding whatever I needed until I got the shade I wanted. It's kind of hard to say what would make "hot" pink, but out of all the colors I could mix, I would assume those would give the best results. Adding blue is just going to give you a purplish tint, and green would make a shit-color...lol. So yeah, I'd try the red, white, and bit of yellow combination. I think if you're moderate with the yellow, it won't turn the color too orangey and by adding more red and white here and there where you need it, you'll be able to use your artistic eye and see if you're getting the color you want. Hmm...now I'm intrigued. I think I'll have to go mess with my oil paints and see for myself...lol. Good luck
