Ok, remember, this is from a guy...and I'm rather stupid. When you're peeing, do you hike your skirt up or lower it down? I've been asking myself that for about 5 years now. *is embarassed now and hides behind sofa*
depends on the skirt. if its like a flowy skirt, ill hike it because its easy to hold. but jean skirts, ill usually lower it because i dont like holding on to the short and rough fabric lol
depends on: the type of fabric/style of skirt the waist closure whether I'm in my own bathroom or a public one Incedentally, I never used to like wearing skirts. I hated them in fact (thought they were too "girly" and I was.. for lack of a better term, butch.) When I started wearing them it was largely for convenience, and because I was spending a lot of time living primitively with other people around. When you can't guarantee privacy to pee in, it's nice to have a skirt with which to cover your cooch.
Hike it 95% of the time... if its long and full Ill usually drop instead because its just soooo much fabric to deal with. Or if its an elasticated band one Ill often drop it too since i ahve to pull my underwear down too, might as well do both in one fell swoop.
can't stand the idea of my clothes touching the bathroom floor...especially in a public restroom. I always hike my skirt up to pee.
well this has got to be the most unusual question I've ever answered on here, lol I generally hike it. It depends....if it's shorter, definately hike. If it's really long and a ton of fabric, provided the floor is clean, I lower it.
Ok, thanks! That answers a question I've been wondering for a few years. Though I still feel pretty stupid...*runs away in embarassment*
I usually raise it. Like Boogiemama, I can't stand the idea of my clothes touching the filthy floor in most public bathrooms. But, even at home, raising it is easier. I have a couple which are REALLY long and flowey, and it is a lot of fabric to hold, and once or twice part of the skirt fell into the potty (UGH) so, at home I lower these but still raise them in a public bathroom. One of the reasons skirts and dresses stuck as clothing "for" womyn is that is IS easier to squat and hike when you are a womyn and have to pee. Men can stand, but skirts not only made it easier for womyn to go to the bathroom, but they make claudestine sex easier, too. . . .
usually up. To me, that's part of the convenience factor.. now why would a 16 yo boy need to know this? or is this like "unzip or drop trou?"
LOL - My bf sews the front of his boxers together so they won't come open. He hates the "barn door" as he calls it and prefers just dropping them a little. It always just makes me laugh that so much damn thought goes into it!
Depends on the length. If it's really long, I hike it. If it is shorter, I lower it a little so it sits on my hips. Peace and love
...Uh....call it idle curiosity. I wonder about many things that I probably shouldn't wonder about. Blame it on my parents, could you?
