Real strong men, actually do look like that. That is brute strength. The ones you see magazines doing poses are theoretically at their weakest state. They may look strong and toned, but they're at their weakest for those photos. It's all about getting definition and lathering yourself in oils so this definition is protruding enough for a photo shoot. They take supplements to for muscles to look good. Basically, photo guys are show ponies. Those guys up top are just strong.

 

Wow even Franco Columbu, who recently died at the ripe age of 78, (May he RIP) and was good friends with Arnold Schwarzenegger, could only bench press 550 lbs.
