I have horribly dry skin , even on my face , and i am looking for any advice on natural lotions. I have tried the body lotions in the stores , but the perfumes in them just make it worse and even burn sometimes.

Thank you in advance for any help yall can give me.

If you are looking for a store bought lotion-I've noticed that hemp lotions work. I bought a huge thing of it at Wal Mart the other day. It's fragrance-free.

Another thing to try is that Fruit of the Earth E lotion. Also fragrance free.

A touch of Vitamin E oil would probably be good for the face.

Aloe Vera works wonders, mineral oil might work pretty good, too..
I have really dry skin, too, and I haven't found the secret
to moisturization for myself personally but maybe some of those
    would work for you?

Whoa this is a really old thread that was bumped. Anywho, use coconut oil right after showering. No chemicals, and you'll be silky soft.

And if you get breakouts from cocount, some folks do, any light weight food oil works.
Almond, avocado, olive do well. Also, jojoba mimics sebum very well and can seal in moisture.
Buff with a washcloth if it stays oily on the surface.

I use coconut on hair and on my body, but my face is persnickety about it and breaks out every few uses.

You should drink water as much you can..and put some Alvera on your face and eat them too.

Haven't you tried yogurt? If not, try to put some fresh yogurt on your hands, face and legs and massage it for some time. In 10 minutes take a shower.

I like to use oil on my face, which a lot of people think will make them break out, but I have found that really depends on which oil is used. I like to use cold pressed avocado oil and have never had any problems with it.

I use coconut oil all over after a shower. Makes my skin silky smooth!
