Hey for everyone who doesn't know, neat fact: carbonation increases alcohol absorption into your bloodstream. Guess that explains why people can get drunk off sparkling wine so quick, even if it's just 7%, and I know I definitely get trashed way faster when I'm using pop as mix instead of juice...I never thought about it before but it makes sense

They said it in a drink-with-juice-so-you-don't-get-too-drunk kind of way, but of course it can be used for exactly the opposite reason as well!
