if you look in the mirror and your eyes are red and strange, then you look around and what you see can seem crystal clear. true drug addicts, there were DSM changes recently about substance use and it's complex but i'm talking those who are really true addicts. people who neglect their environment and their body, and also neglect important areas of thought because all thoughts and actions are tied to using.

somtimes bodies wither and use goes on. kind of like the red eye thing, we think some people look in rough shape (and they do), but that's really their bodies. i can't help but think it's becuase some drug experiences really take us to heaven (like Andy Warhol said- "I smoke pot because i want to go to heaven before i die"). these people are almost like aescetics, sort of abandoning their bodies for something higher. i think it gets spiritual whether we know that intimately or not.

drug use is a really generally interesting area, use of psychoactives dates thousands of years back that we know.

i do think that some people forget there's something else, eventually that heaven probably gets polluted.

bodies are strange, minds and forms that came about by borrowing materials from the universe, the whole idea of consciousness and identity is basically a total mystery

i'm getting the idea that it's good not to pollute your body because it's not exactly yours, you're a part of this and have certain responsibilites by default, and doing so punishes the mind in the long run anyway. it's really a selfish way to find heaven in that sense, but then of course we ask: where is this all going, anyway? i think that voice makes it hard to tell if it's really that selfish, despite the obvious distancing from people you were once close(r) to.

if to find heaven, i think it's ok to let people do that. it's a choice, really. it's probably easier for those who already aren't digging the whole life thing. it's a difficult choice once you've seen that side of things. either is probably valid in the ultimate picture.

i have no idea if i want to go back to the common world, or if i want to just drift further back into my mind, which happens often, without me realizing it. i don't know how to summon the energy to head back into town, maybe this is just it.

it's not that devastating, it's just kind of another way of exisiting, it may end up bringing a lot of missed chances for something else, but it does have something on it's own.

    choices, choices

Yeah.I always had a problem with the "life thing." But I have it that woman is my friend on this journey. We are continually being born and dying together, and there's really not that much difference between anybody.

For real drug addiction maybe it's not that they are going to heaven but avoiding going to hell, but you can't have one without the other so I think in order to experience heaven you have to have gone through hell first.

What a dead end of a drug induced "heaven".

Not that interesting. More or less like saying if you pour water over your computer, it's in heaven. No, it's shit's broken, and it's malfunctioning and can't run it's normal processes or control it's components.

Some people believe that sex and orgasm are Heaven. God and Sex are both three letter words, heh. But not all people call out "oh my God" in Sex. Some people call out the name of their lover.

To me, sex is the most very powerful "drug" of all. It's known that some substance users / abusers / addicts are self-medicating from the pains of the harm and / or injuries of a sexual nature .. some can't get off without being drunk or high .. some can't get off if they are drunk or high. But they can be inextricably bound, sex and drugs. Lots of substances for sale .. to enhance sexual pleasure .. I sometimes think it's more of a fundamental belief that substance of any sort is mandatory. Always gotta be consuming something, for some reason or purpose ...

pouring water over your computer doesn't generate feelings of euphoria, joy, acceptance etc. i sort of agree about malfunctioning, but don't compare it to water over a computer. there's so so so much more to it than that
