I'm in Canada.I have never been tested at a job I do not personally know any person that has been drug tested at their work place... i only know of train engineers that have mandatory testing here and maybe pilots It seems to be really big in the USA....what about other countries? do they actually watch you pee?...is it a blood test?.... follicle test? do they test waitresses and busboys.....landscape dudes.....bricklayers?
I've been drug tested once for a job at Wal-Mart and the people didn't watch me pee. I think they might watch you pee if you are doing it for probabtion(being in trouble with the law). People who are most likely to be drug tested before being hired in America are: security guards, drivers, a job where you might get hurt, a job where you handle alot of money, a leadership position, a small business owner who is scared of hippies, a pharmy job.
theres testing here in canada, but its generally like you mentioned in the aviation industry, they also test for the military (though not very often lol) for the oil rigs and even for concrete layers or whatever they're called....thats what my bro in law does and hes regularly tested. i think its becoming more of a common practice than we might think, most blue collar jobs don't yet, but i think its a growing trend for anyone who deals with heavy machinery and things of the like.
I'm in the US.. i've been drug tested once.. For a job I didn't even want.. So I wasn't bummed when I failed my piss test
In the US, there are a lot of "pre-employment" screenings. You don't get regularly tested unless you work for the state/government or are in construction, driving, things of that nature. Military always tests and they test regularly. So do all police, fire, water departments, garbage companies, etc. So yeah...America pretty much tests for everything haha
I know of some here that have been tested but its generally only done after an incident/accident at the workplace
I'm in the UK and have never heard of anyone being tested for a standard job. I've worked in Ireland and Australia too, and same thing there, its pretty unheard of.
just smoke crack like everyone else.. leaves your system in 3 days.. if your break it up a bit.. I know a clown that would do blasts on the steps exiting the PO office. He said it was a hell of a rush..
That's more the insurance company than the employer. I'm pretty sure that most companies drug test because their insurance requires it. I've worked for the same company for 12 years and have taken two random tests and two for injuries. Fortunately, my drugs of choice aren't tested for. I smoke the herb so rarely that I'm clean by Monday morning, 2-3 hits on a Friday night after not smoking for over a month or so.
the fact that walmart does drug testing kinda explains a lot about walmart................. and what about if you live with someone that has weed papers for medical use?...surely living in a house where a shitload of weed is smoked will cause a negative test in a non smoker? i saw bob marley in 79..when they turned the lights on you could not see the other side of the stadium...too smoky...no person in that arena could possibly have passed a drug test
