~~Drug Bust~~

it all started yesterday... i was in english class browsing the internet when i came across a cool pic of a colorful pot leaf. my buddy next to me decides to print it. teacher grabs it and sees the image on my comp. thinks it was me. next day i wake up pick up this chick, roll a joint, and smoke w/ her. we get to school and split are ways. im walking down the hall and this administartor grabs me, ( they all know me ) and says 105 is looking for you, the principles office. anyways they escort me down. and they bring me in this room, and search me, and i ask them why? and they bust out the pot leaf image that was printed.. i empty my pockets but i had like a nickel sack worth and they find it. then they ask me if i drove to school. i say no i diddnt ( cause i had weed and my pipe in my car) anyways they search the parking lot and find it. i had some weed, my pipe. a bunch of empty baggies in my trunk ( dont even use them for pot there for storage.) anywyas they find a flask in my trunk, and a pocket knife w/ coke residue on it. i dont even do coke.. it was this kids i know.. he must of left it in my car... so bogus. anwyyas they think that im a dealer cause of the bags in the trunk. i dunno but they found like a grams worth of weed total. my pipe. anotehr dudes knife, and my flask. anyways they handcuff me. have me walk down the fucking hallways during as passing period w/ cops escorting me w/ my hands handcuffed and stuff. my teachers were giving me odd looks and shit.. it was so embaressing. anywyas they bring me to jail, they look at the pictures on my phone, pics of me smoking, and my freinds. and a couple pics of this chick naked.. anyways.. they show the pics to my mom, im 18 years old! its my phone, i pay the bill. why the fuck would they show my mom those pics.. anyways im pretty fucked. i got court date next month. im broke, cant afford a lawyer. mom bailed me out of jail.. 2nd semester of my senior year.. and this shit happens.. so fuckign close to graduation... and now mi basicly fucked for college. cant receive financial aide for college now.. guess im not going to college.... thanks alot school for fucking me over for having a gram of weed. pretty bogus, im so polite and shit. im surprised they made sucha huge dela about it. i was wearing my blue flare jeans, my leather jacket w/ the big collars, w/ hendrix pin, and lennon pin. wore a lennon t-shirt.. they searched my car that has grateful dead, pink floyd, the beatles stickers all over it. its pretty fucking bogus. but w/e i schouoldbnt of brought the weed to school. but i honestly diddnt remeber having the weed on me in the first place.. i reached in my pockets, and i felt it. and im like oh fuck.. i didint even know it wa sin there.. i put it in there, and shit but w/e,. the school is so senial, there like give me the names of other kdis who smoke at this school. i could probbly name 100 kids at the school who smoke pot. i mean wtf. it really sucked cause i saw some of my teachers as i was wlaking.. and they were all confused and stuff... i have such good relationships w/ my teachers cause im polite and shit.. but w/e.. it doesnt make a difference. i smoke pot. i mean im not hurting no one, i just get high before school, and mind my own buisness in class. liker im passing all my classes. and now i got a 5 day susopension.. and possibly expelled.. all my hopes for education are fucked up now.. i tried to explain that i dont just smoke to get high. i write music, play the guitar, listen to music, paint, draw.. omg i always went to painting class stoned.. would go off campus during lunch and smoke. i rocked in that class. i dunno but all i can say is the police got me all wrong. im not a violent person and i have good morals.. there like soon youll be doing crack then heroin and living on the streets.. ive been around coke for 2 years. still havnt tried it to this day. casue my old best friend became a coke addict and is living on the streets and fucked up his life... i dont touch nohting besides pot. i dont even smoke ciggarettes... w/e my life is fucked now because of this new enlgish teacher who narked on me, and the wonderful drug bust. i know alot more3 kdis who deserve to get kicked out of the school then i do. man they have no idea who i am.. they even went through my internet usage thing. and were like why u going to sites about amrijuana andstuff. w/e highschool sucks.. im not dangerous... but they dont belive me.. i need drug counseling because they think im a marijuana addict. w/e there idiots.

 

That sucks, bro. It's marijuana. The school takes it more seriously than the police do. Cept for my 8th grade math teacher.

 

Yeah, I got caught not too long ago either. Not at school though. My life's also probalby fucked now too. Whatever, America sucks.

thats a real big bummer man...sorry that happened to ya. i've known alot of friends of mine who got caught in school, but didnt go to that extent...that just sucks. hopefully everything will get better soon for ya

Man, I am so sorry. That sucks. They can actually prevent you from getting financial aid because you used pot? They can search your car withouth a warrant because you had a PICTURE of a pot leaf? What kind of a country is this?

DID they have a warrant to search your car? Because if not, EVERYTHING in the car may well be thrown out of court, and they have no case without it.

YES, they can prevent you from getting financial aid if you've got a drug conviction.

YES, they can search anything they like on their property.

YES, they can do what they wish.

YES, it is a DUMB IDEA to have dope all over you.

YES, it is a DUMB IDEA to carry other peoples' knives, stash, bongs, etc.

I can well imagine that the parents are devastated, having begged him time and time again to knock off the drugs.

Well, that's his life screwed. It breaks my heart to see people post here saying "I found my life's calling! I want to be a nurse! But I can't ---- they do a check, see that I used to be on drugs and tear up my application!"

 

Yeah man that really sucks. I hope it all works out in the end. By the way, shouldn't this be in the marijuana or busted forum?

 

Tough break, man! A month ago the cops busted my friend's party and confiscated over $500 worth of pipes, bongs, etc. Good luck with everything!

enjoy a job without a college degree. I understand that frying things can have a certain zen-like appeal after a few dead end years. Unless you learn a trade, but that would take dedication and a certain amount of get up and go dope burned out of you.

Well, here are a few problems:

1) If you don't have a lawyer, you're screwed from what I understand.
2) Your MOM bailed you out? What happened to standing on your own two feet and staying in jail til they released ya?

Maybe this is what your mom was trying to protect you from.

OK in a month or so after the court date and fine or whatever (which you'll bitch about, mark my words) ---- you'll say "hey wow that was no big deal"

- until you want to go to college.
- until you see on an employment application form "have you ever been arrested". Especially if and when you have bills, rent due, kids and you lost your last job.

That sort of thing's like herpes, dude, you'll never be rid of it and it'll hassle you your entire life. We'll see what happens. Best case scenario, you'll just be barred from many employment opportunities and have no opportunity to go to college as you say.
Worst case, you go to jail. You're too fragile to survive it.

 

So, um, Jared, mind if I warn other kids about potentially wrecking their lives?
