Driving under the influence of marijuana

Can you do it? I know some people who can do it fine and others who can't it all. It's weird how it's different for people. I can only drive when I'm just a little buzzed.

 

I love driving when I'm high...

 

no, i don't like it, did it once and went to get more weed with some people. i waited in the car, when they went in. now, if another person was driving, it would be different, but i dont' like driving while high.

 

I've driven high with my dad sitting right next to me lol

 

driving high is a hobby for me...

four times a year, a friend and i make a road trip, either to come to or from miami... each time we managed to have something for the trip, but last time i brought a good 17 blunts along with us for the ride. by the end of it, i was so immune to driving while stoned, it just seemed natural.

 

I don't really support it. I don't think driving drunk is a good idea and I don't think driving high is any better. Granted, I'd rather drive high than drunk, and I have driven high before, and probably will again. It's not that I don't like drinking, it's just that I'm more comfortable with marijuana, and I have a better idea of where my head's at when I'm high. That does'nt mean I'm a good driver stoned, it just means I'm alot better at telling when I'm high than when I'm drunk.

You shouldn't drive nor stoned nor sober...:S really, be careful, dudes, I have heard some shit about some minors friends driving...

 

I can drive under any amount of cannabis influnce so long as I'm still consious, there are actually very few pschoactives that give me any driving problems, yet I kinda suck with alcohol, and I would say the next hardest is shrooms. I've found few people my age that can drive sober better than I can ripped, yet this is just because Im very experienced with the particular experience given that state of mind. The adaptive power of your brain is an intresting thing, for I can say a year and a half ago I would never have made such a claim.

 

^^Why not? If we passed the test and are operating our vehicle correctly, who is to say we can't drive? Because we're young?

 

My friend was talking about how he had some really strong ass shit and something came up so he had to get home ASAP. He lives way out there, he was driving down a foggy dirt road, pieces of road just kept on disappearing an shit he was about to take a right on a fork you have to take the fork disappeared then he realized he already made the turn.

 

My friend said he could drive excellent when stoned but the other day after we had blazed we drove up to a spot to toke some more. We were on a road with a 55mph speed limit and he was going about 20 the he pulled off the road cause he thought that was where the spot was, then realized it wasnt and pulled back on all in about 5 seconds with no blinkers or anthing. We then realized that there was a ton of cars behind us and we must have looked like the dumbest kids. I dont have my liscense yet but i dont plan on driving stoned when i get it.

 

I drive high all the time... It really doesn't affect my driving at all, but it does make it quite a bit more enjoyable I think... And what better for those long ass road trips, just cruising down the interstate, than tokin?

In the states you have to take a written test to get your permit, which allows you to drive an insured vehicle with someone 21yrs or older for a year. When that year comes up, you take the written test again, then the actual driving test. If you pass those, you can get your regular operator's license.

 

I thought the other person only had to be 18 when you have your permit... That's how it was in texas anyway...

 

in massachusetts, you have to be atleast 16 to even take your permit test(written test) . the written test is taking on a computer. if you pass that, you get your permit. have to have your permit for a minimum of 6 months before you can try for your license. if your under 18, you have to take Drivers Ed before you can get your license, but you don't have to take Driver's Ed if your over 18...but its still a good idea since it saves insurance money. then you sign up and take a drivign test and you take the test with a State cop.

Where I was you could get your permit at 15, and license at 16, once you were 18 you didn't have to get the permit, just take the test for your license...

Thats how it is in Michigan. Unless they changed it, I can't remember since they switched to the graduated licence system.

But in my case, i actually drive better when im stoned than when im just a little buzzed. Where i live you can just go drive around the mountains and stuff and its really beautiful when stoned. However, i hate driving whilst inebriated at night. It sucks. All the lights distract me. Although, no matter what time of day it is, i still have trouble goin the speed limit if im stoned (i go a little too slow actually). I still dont condone driving while stoned or drunk. They are both more dangerous than driving sober.
