Well, it took me two decades but I finally got around to seeing Driving Miss Daisy. It was a really good character-driven movie and Morgan Freeman, Jessica Tandy and Dan Akroyd did excellent in it. Don't know how I managed to miss this 1989 movie for so long. I suppose, having been in the deep south in the time period of this movie, it had even more relevance for me, knowing the prejudices that were openly practiced. And now that I am getting older, with a mother similar to the one portrayed here, it becomes even more poignant.
