    Hi there,

My name is Lexi, I'm 26 and from Australia.
I am travelling in America for 6 months.
I'm currently staying with a friend 3 hours north of San Fransisco.

I am buying myself a vehicle this week and plan to drive across the country towards New York and then South to Atlanta before Christmas.

I have a couple of places I wish to see, but what I am really looking for is a unique adventure and the ability to stop and see whatever tempts the senses along the way.

I am hoping to find someone out there who has a gypsy spirit like me who wants to just DRIVE and see what comes of such an adventure.

We'd have to be comfortable with one another, trust one another and be happy to just go with the flow.

I am planning to leave sometime next week around the 24th October. The vehicle I am looking to buy will just be a sedan, nothing too fancy, but hopefully fully reliable.
I am a smoker (ciggarettes) and will be happily smoking and stopping for coffees along the drive.

I am a very easy going personality. I will be seeking out cheap accommodation, cabins, back packing hostels along the way.

I would preferrably prefer a female/s travel companion, but I'm not prejudice to anyone! I would really love someone who is comfortable with driving over here in America, so we can share some of the driving! We'd be sharing gas along the way, but I'm buying a car that is really economical. I also plan to get navigation and roadside assitance.

If you are interested please send me a message and give me a little information about yourself and your plans, :)

Look forward to hearing from someone!!!!!

    Kind Regards,

    Lexi

Hey Lexi! I live in atlanta (well slightly north) but Im a hippie, gypsy, wandering traveler haha whatever you wanna call it, Im at a point in my life where i dont want to think to much anymore, i just want to do. I just want to quit preparing for the 'future' when I dont even know what secret plans it might have in store for me. Who knows if ill even be around. Its time for me to start living my life the way it was meant for me to live it and right now I just feel this bitter cold is not for me. So im looking to venture south to florida, at least for the ocala gathering, after that, who knows where ill be headed. Im honestly hoping to meet some family that will change my life at the gathering. Not only do i not want to "go home" I dont really have a home to go back too and Ive got my dog ive got to take care of. I know it was a few months ago but hey if your still heading to atlanta and/or possibly further south, please let me know. Me and doobie could use the ride and the company haha

Hope you're enjoying your trip, dont forget to go see that big ball of twine on the way,,, it's breathtaking.

But maybe on a more serious note you may want to hit the Hostel I worked at out by Death valley, unbeatable scenery, $25 for a bunk per night. The area around it is mostly BLM land anyway meaning perfectly legal to camp out in the sands if you wish.

In the event you missed it already and head back west and want to skirt along the southern coast you can catch it on the way back to your friends perhaps?

Thank you for the tip, I will be sure to look for him. As for me, I wouldnt say im a carpenter on anything but I know how to use tools, hand or mechanical as well as the next guys does, and if im a little rusty on anything im more than willing to learn. Why do you ask? Are these tools going to save my life haha

Ive got to get on board with you guys haha that is most definitely a life changing experience.

I got a question for you though, do you have to deal with cops often? If so how do you go about doing that haha

I watched "Magic Trip" the other days. Great movie.

They really set the bar didnt they haha
