I was just wondering if the dread process went thick to thin, or thin to thick? I tried finding it in a post I read, but I don't remember exactly where it was. Just wondering because I have a few clumps of thin "dreads" while others are a bit thicker.

I'm just curious so I know what to expect.

    thick to thin to thick.

They started out really poofy and thick, got hard and thin, and now they're thickening up again.

They're all different sizes though. Some will stay pencil thin and some will keep growing. I like the combo thing.

And it's different for everybody. yours might not shrink as they tighten like mine did.
