dreads that you like(thought this would be fun)

So I have learned that each person has a different idea of their "perfect" dreads style. I wanted to see what everyone ideal dreads are. So this is what i propose, post a image of someone or yourself with the dreads that are your "perfect" image of what you think dreads are to you. I will start. If I thought I could pull it off, these are my "perfect" dreads, this image was what was the first thing that made me think about have dreads years ago. So what is your "perfect" dreads?

that sounds so shallow but its true - now ive done this anti-wax thing, im realising that i dont aspire for my dreads to be like anyone elses. i want them to be mine, and theyll be my idea of perfect (they already are)

 

enayes, those are some sweet looking dreads! i cant wait til the day that mine gets that length!

i dont think i ever saw a pic,, i just felt that i wanted dreads

 

i saw this couple at the beach on sunday with amazing locks.
i wish i wouldve had a picture of them.

now if thyere were lil pink spikey thingies using mine as a pillow..hmm yea that would be nice


and no didnt have any dreads to inspire me, only had seen 2 rastas with dreads at the time both very different 1 had short congos stickin out all over the other had more normal ones just past his shoulders

the following year saw the 1st dreads oon a white guy (besides me i mean) ..was this ..well only way to describe himn was a wizard..had a dreaded mohawk, but in the shape if a question mark
walked around with this huge staff with all kinds of crystals feathers skins and things hanging from it and a great big stuffed animal dragon coiled around it

was probly bout around then i met a freind whos also spoookyferrets freind i just found out..oh and another guy jai who i think was columbian/asian mix.. jai had dreads to his heels and dub..well were pretty close to that too (20 years ago or so..the last10 years or so hes worn his tucked inside his clothges down into his socks so niot sure how long they are now
i was also helping run several soup kitchens and ran my own lil outreach program..met rastas like appolo and his wife artists with dreads musicians like mikey dread elliot levin mamny more and dreads just seemed to slowly be everywhere all within a few years of starting mine it went from only ever seeing 2 to knowing hundreds and hundreds..ah then freinds brought me to my 1st gathering at 19where i met ppl whod dreaded for years even some whod dreaded while living in the rainforrests of belize (and i think ate too many funguses there cause he thought he was quetziquatle (butchered that spelling didnt i?) the aztec god that would drum in the end of the world..and the dude was such a good drummer ya almost believed it
anyway..from that point on from age 19 dreads were just a part of my life everywhere i went..id met ppl with dreads like a peace sign (1 long thick dread splitting into 3) one guy had a hand dread (sticking straight up out of his head like a wrist, with flat but pudgy palm and 5 waving fingers)id seen dreads of every description and gotta say i loved every single 1, not 1 motre inspiring then the next
its not about how much better 1 dread lookes then another its about the spirit contained in the dread
thats what inspired me the most.. the people that dreaded..not theyre dreads.. but how they wrre as people

 

i dont want my dreads to look anyway cept the way they are meant to look......however lol these dreads are the most beautiful dreads i have ever laid eyes on!

wow SE, wish you had some pics of those. would be awesome to be able to see some of those. i hope in 20 years i will still have my and hope that they and me might inspire someone to wanting their own dreads.

ive seen him areound for years..hell watched him grow up pretty much..not sure i saw him as a baby but prolly did
but for sure been seein him since he was 2-3 or so
asnd im 90% sure he was 1 of the kids at trade circle one day that set off tye most awesome sequence of trades that ended up with my drum..
traded a nexcklace worth 30 for pebbles a broken earing and a lil trinket thing all together worth a penny maybe, from that made many more trades and came out of it with a 200$ drum

just wondering where ya knew him from..and im fairly sure i know hos parents too just never figured out which kids belong with which adults..lol
hes a great kid tho..
