I looked at your FAQ natural philosophy. Are you implying the ancient celts were black?

There's two things possibly going on here with Mr. NP's post:
    1. He could be trolling
    2. He could be making a statement that it is inaccurate to describe matted locks of hair as 'dreadlocks' unless the locks in question are on a Rasta and since the whole idea of a 'white rasta' is ridiculous all Rasta will be non-white. I honestly don't care enough about any of it to correct people, but you won't hear me describe my hair as 'dreads' or 'dreadlocks'...

They're just locks! Like Sampson had in Biblical times, eh?

I also call it my hair (or my hairs if I'm feeling extra foolish)

I think you can just call them dreads as that's what they are.

I call them locks of hair because that's what they are.

'Dreads'... What's to be afraid of? :biggrinjester:

I was sharing a perspective, not trying to get white people to refrain from referring to matted locks of hair as 'dreads'. You are welcome to call things whatever you like, just like I am.
