Dreadlets!

Sunday March 8th/09 was the birth of my dreadlets. I like to look at pictures of new & old dreads so I decided I would make my contribution by beginning my timeline.

so here we go!



^This is after having my hair dyed back to my natural hair colour (It was black)



^ Day 1- An hour or so after they were done by Pat <3 twisted and ripped. Pretty much the most hilarious picture of me ever!

What are Dreadlets? I have never heard of them

 

^ Day? Sometime during the week after using some aloe gel. I really don't like the way it made them look & feel

^ The back of my head, trying to get a picture of my roots. This proved to be quite difficult with my cam ^_^



^ Some better lighting. I find it much easier to see them in this pic

 

They look really good! I'm curious as to what they look like without the bandana.

 

^ Pat told me to wait to wash them but I'm stubborn so we rinsed them enough to get the aloe gel out. They feel so much better now. I think they've already shrank a bit in the past week.



^ Today has been one week with one wash I'll post some more in a couple weeks or so

they look like theyll knot up pretty fast and be super awesome.
i find mine knot fast after a wash, thats when they congo and shit.

 

they're dreading super fast. Some of them are super tight right near the roots and they've easily shrunk atleast 3 inchs

They will be perfect size when they get tight and compact

They are already looking mature!! They look great. =D
