dreadhead hq is the first dread soap i bought. i'm still using the first bottle. for me it works, my head feels clean, my dreads feel a little tighter. some people say it makes your scalp itch, but i've never had that problem. so yeah, use it i guess.

never tryed it, but heard it is ok. used knotty boy myself. dreadheadhq is a big company, so they must do something right. or maybe it sucks and they are just good at marketing

I used it until mine ran out. Its okay, it will clean your scalp. If you have no problem with SLS, then your in for a bargain. You cant dilute it... but hey, FREE is the best four letter word beginning with "F"...

^^ What she said. Sodium Laural Sulfate creeps me out and irritates my skin, so I try to stay away from it. Try it out, it won't hurt your locks, and if you like it use it. If not, find some other knotty head that'd appreciate it and use Bronners, which has almost nothing to really irritate the skin. :)

I started out with the DQ shampoo as well. It works good but I did have a little dry scalp afterwads so I just added a little rosemary oil....no more itches and smells great to!

Yea you can add any kind of natural oil or even the real thing, a friend of mine puts the actual leaves in her shampoo. I cant wait to get rid of the DQ, just because I want to try Dr. Bonners
