Dramamine Experience

remember the time I tried taking Dramamine to hallucinate.

Isaiah called Chris and I and said, "Let's get delirious."

The main ingredient in Dramamine is Dimenhydrinate, which is a deliriant. One pill is 50 mg with recreational dosages start at 250 mg. 12 pills usually come in a pack of Dramamine.

Before we left the house, everyone told us it was a bad idea. We didn't give a fuck though because we wanted to try it. We wanted it to happen. We wanted to experience it for ourselves.

Before we left, we looked up experiences on erowid. All the stories were pretty ridiculous, and we're ridiculous people so it just pumped us up even more.

Chris and I got in the car and drove to Dallas to pick up Isaiah. When we arrived, he had already lifted 3 packages. Then, we took them.

We each took 12. We were going to go out to the woods to get delirious, but we decided to drive to my family's cabin in Hebo. When we were about 11 miles from the cabin, I started getting delirious. Chris and Isaiah weren't feeling it yet.

When we got there we sat around in the front room. We all looked like we were buggin'. The high wasn't bad. It's hard to describe the feeling. I guess I felt... DELIRIOUS. Chris fell asleep. It made him really tired. Isaiah kept saying, "what?" when nobody was saying anything. Eventually we just fell asleep. When we woke up the next morning, we decided to drive back to Dallas and get MORE.

On our way to get more, we were feeling pretty good about ourselves. We lifted a bottle with 100 pills and we each took 25. We rolled over to the park and proceeded to get delirious. Again.

This time it was way more intense. I didn't hallucinate, I just felt really doom-y. I didn't want to move, and I couldn't remember what I was talking about while I was saying it. I hated the feeling a lot. Eventually I threw up the pasta shells I ate before we left. It was pretty gross looking because the shells were still whole. So I started throwing up more. Isaiah kept saying, "what?" again. Chris just got tired again. We went home and went to bed. I was fucked up the next day. My head just didn't feel right.

I'm not going to say don't do it, though.

 

I personally love that Doom feeling. It's so... sinister and powerful.

 

Auditory hallucinations are a bitch on dramamine. I hear all kinds of noises, my name being called, by various people who can't be there, etc . . . that plus the state of mind you're in makes for a very strange and incoherent experience, although one that i have partaken of many a time. If you do it in the safety of your own room the worst thing that will probably happen is you will fall asleep earlier than you planned.

 

I know someone who actually died in my city after ingesting 20 pills. He was walking around and fell into a sewer and passed out and drowned. He had no idea where he was at.

I personally don't think it would be a fun experience...I don't really want to know what it's like to be actually insane, and that is basically what being delirious is. From what I have gathered...you don't even actually KNOW you are tripping, because everything seems real.

Scary shit, IMO.

 

It's just like dreaming a very real dream. Recently I had a long dream about a normal night and I thought this dream was so fucking real even though I knew I was dreaming. It was the second most real dream ever and I thought I was gonna be stuck in it forever but of course deep down I knew I would eventually wake up.

 

See, the problem there is he took 20 pills and went walking around outside. This is NOT that kind of drug. This is more akin to extremely high doses of ketamine/dxm. Would you go walking around a city blasted into a deep, powerful 4th plateau? No, that is just utterly foolish. This is a stay home drug.

That's why so many people have bad trip reports on delirients; setting matters so much more than on most other drugs.

 

after wanting to experience the trip for over a year now. i picked up 2 tubes of 12 in each at the gas station. they didnt do shit, just made me really tired and gave a mild body high, felt heavy and uncoordinated but thats all. i was hoping to have some OEV's since ive never have before. each time i just took 12. think i need to up the dose?

i was watching 12 Monkeys on the comeup... such a good movie. but then i just got even more tired, i popped 12 at 11:35pm and gave up at 3am when nothing happened.

 

yeah, 12 is only 6 benadryl, and thats not really enough to "trip" from. doomy is a good way to describe the mind state. i used to do a lot of benadryl to get this. its really is better at small doses, but gets old after a while. its only fun being a zombie for so long.i do like to take a few with coffee occasionally though, i gotta drink lotsa water with it though cause the two really dry me out.

 

yeah, i tried gulping them down before the melt. its like having chalk on the tongue. haha its bad.

Before they melt a bit on your tongue? Maybe drop them into your mouth with water already in there.

 

yes sir, but i wanted to experience the melt. never have so yeah, i gulped them down with water afters. reminds me of taking a pill for the headache, its nasty dont let it melt! ahh.

 

I got 8, I am gonna save them for a dxm trip. Would more be better? Or is 8 enough?

 

I tried Benydryl once and nothing happend but drowsiness. The only hullucination I had was when I was in the dark it looked like the towels were breathing and I saw the shadow of a alligator walk across the hallway. I wish I could have a high were I see a hott naked chick and she comes and sucks me up... you know?

 

Man, I would love for that to happen! lol

 

that kind of high is called real life. get out there and make it happen. a real chick sucking you up is better than an imaginary one partner.
