This is an excellent 50s show!!!! Listen to the original 1949 series which started on radio http://archive.org/details/Dragnet_OTR So far I have listenend to the first show!
I like the drag net t.v. show from the late 60s . I watched it as a kid . Bill Gannon and sgt. Joe Friday .
Here are a couple streaming networks with LIVE STREAMING of various dragnet episodes http://174.132.177.176:9978 http://sc2.i-stream.net:8120
Love the role of Harry in Dragnet which is the best cop TV series ever produced because it was the first show that really put the real essence of the development and genuineness of Police TV series. Unlike Hill Street Blues, Dragnet is however much edgy because it didn't stick much on typical drama anthology but instead, it concentrated on the very realistic cop stories and their daily lives. I love seeing this show then and now. Yes! I have a DVD collection of this show which I bought at yourdvdcorner.com - great audio and video quality compared to watching it on the re-runs. This DVD set really made me relived all the excellent episodes from this show for the whole 8 years. Dragnet is a legacy and this type of show will still continue to live on!
Im glad that archive link is still valid in the OP!!!!! Always good hearing this show!! (Watching is better though)
