I've watched a few of the new ones, they're alright.

I remember the original series though... I remember being freaked out by it, but it was partially, I think, because I was so young.

I remember it from when I was like six, I think. Used to be quite entertaining. I haven't seen any with the newer guys.

In the picture, I remember watching the guy fourth over, top -> right hand corner. (curly brown hair)

The theme song is still fun too. Got the mp3! :) :leaving:

My stepdad is obsessed with it... he has bookcases stacked with Dr. Who DVDs. I don't really like it myself.

I've sadly watched it all.. and Torchwood. It has a weird sense of being crap but compelling. I'm sure the same could be said about the older series. Russel T davies just winds me up a treat. That would be my major bug bare with this new re-vamped attempt at 'Dr Who'. Apart from that yeah, i guess it is good. I don't much like the older series , they just seemed to drag on and on. With the new series atleast the story arks are short.

Have you seen any of the spin offs ?.

Following the success of the 2005 series produced by Russell T. Davies, the BBC commissioned Davies to produce a 13-part spin-off series titled Torchwood (an anagram of "Doctor Who"), set in modern-day Wales and investigating alien activities and crime. The series debuted on BBC Three on 22 October 2006.[14] John Barrowman reprises his role of Jack Harkness from the 2005 series of Doctor Who. It was shot in Summer and Autumn 2006.[15] Eve Myles, who was in the 2005 Doctor Who episode The Unquiet Dead, also stars.[16]

A new K-9 children's series, K-9 Adventures, is being produced, but not by the BBC.[17]

The Sarah Jane Adventures, starring Elisabeth Sladen as Sarah Jane Smith, has been developed by CBBC; a special aired on New Year's Day 2007, and a full series to follow later in the year.[18]

the new series is surprisingly good. nice fresh incarnation. true to the original, but has a unique style of its own. one episode where the doc and billy went back to her past so she could see her dad was particulalry spooky and cool. deep themes, good writing.
