i am intensely interested in finding some DPT freebase, but am having a rough time of it. i find it extremely difficult to find sources, even spending a couple hours at a time trying to do so. when i do locate something, it's virtually never for compounds i have interest in. anyway, i have a small handful of RC sources, but as a general rule i'm not interested in rc's. these sources carry several items i know to be of interest to most of you, but for me they're generally worthless. exceptions to this rule are DPT and 4-AcO-DMT - i am very interested in finding good sources for these, but ESPECIALLY DPT freebase. i do have a source for 4-AcO-DMT, but the minimum order is 2g and costs over 300 bucks, so thats not an option for me. if anybody has sources they are willing to trade, shoot me a PM. i am ONLY interested in offering the sources i know if you can provide sources for DPT (especially freebase) or 4-AcO-DMT, and only if i can purchase a gram or less at a time for a reasonable amount of money. i dont want to sell anything, and have no interest in having an enormous supply on hand. the vendor must ship to the USA, must check out on undrugged, and must deal with private individuals if you can help with this, i might be able to help with unscheduled synthetic cannabinoids, the 2C series, methylone, etc.
My friend is gonna try to freebase 250 mg of my DPT HCL by doing freeze precipitaed naptha pulls how he regularly does with DMT, hopefully this should work since the other tek for it seems to hard. Anyone think this won't work and it will just fail horribly?
There's a tek where you dissolve DPT into as little water as possible, and then add lye. Match the lye with the DPT by adding the same number of molecules. (Get the molar weight of each substance and use that ratio. I think it's about 1/7th the weight in lye to DPT.) Stir it up and you will get a dark orange brown oil, which is the DPT freebase. You then have to glob that up and get it out of the water. (Some describe blowing the water out and having the oil remain...) Best bet is to use a needle or metal wire/poker to swirl in the water and the oil will stick to it. Then mix that oil with some kind of smokable herb. Here's a link where I got the info. (I've never tried smoking a lot, but a few hits seems to be nice for a short duration mushroom like trip. It is much more pleasurable than insuflating to me.) I think the reason freebase is not as available as HCL is because it's usually an oil and is very hard to crystallize. (I doubt freeze precip will work.)
yes, i understand it's an oil. its the nature of the beast. but i want something i can take a large dose with, quickly, without having to insufflate it. i'm sure that occasional use doesn't do any significant physical damage, but my experiences with insufflated DMT have been so incredibly unpleasant from a physical standpoint that i cannot invision taking a strong dose that way. iirc, the biggest dose i've insufflated (HCl) was 45-55mg, and my nose felt so painful, so clogged up that i could barely imagine insufflating 100-150mg that way. smoking straight oil, akin to the manner in which DMT is smoked but, of course, smoking an oil rather than a solid, seems more what i'm looking for, because i could get a cheap hash oil pipe and use that easily enough, and simply take a couple hits until i'm in full-blown psychedelic hyperspace. i'm afraid mixing it too much may dilute to a point where you can't smoke it quickly enough to REALLY get where i'm looking to go, or alternatively would require very direct, very high temperatures and would decrease the impact of the dose. i know you shouldn't smoke DMT (or even things like opium) directly because the heat can destroy the substance, cause it to become inert. i'd be afraid of losing much of the impact of the DPT by smoking it on weed or parsley or something. i'd be much happier if i could smoke the straight freebase, even if it's more difficult to manage.
i've never been so lucky as to ACTUALLY find a legit DPT vendor, and have been trying for quite some time now, and it sounds absolutely bewildering...i havn't had any tryptamines [aside from a mild dose of dmt a few months ago] in almost a year... i'd imagine that it'd be your best bet to make the oil and throw it in a Base pipe just like dmt... idk, smoking dmt is REALLY hard at first, but you get used to it...i mean, it's easy to smoke a heavy dose before breaking through if you practice!!! HAHAH god, but i'm too new to this forum to expect anybody to point me in the direction of a DPT vendor...i can't even PM yet...but if ANYBODY has ANY hints, PLEASE email me.
Yeah, you're right. Probably best to just vaporize the oil. Either way, I think you'll have luck getting some oil using the lye to convert it to freebase.
Well my friend finally tried this with the tek that peacgrow graciously provided , and it worked out and now I just have to go pick it up and test it out It's good they have dosage charts on erowid for smoked DPT, cause I'd hate having to start out small...
