So the downstem in my bong broke, and I can't find the right size replacement. It's just a little bigger than a regular sized glass downstem. Even my slide is a little to big to fit in another bong. Any suggestions?
When I bought my first bong I broke the downstem in the sink. I never even got to use it. I had a one hitter that I was not using at the time and I put a gasket around that and put it in. I have used it that way from that day on. It rocks and is great for weed conservation. The gasket can be a rubberband. Good Luck and have fun. Otherwise there is a great head shop on I94 just north of the Illinois boarder that has a great selection. They also sell porn so it make a great one stop shop. I forget the name.
If I can't find any help I'll hafta create something, I just really love this bong and I wanna get a new friggin downstem. And most shops won't let me bring anything in to size it up
Why won't they let you take it in? I took mine in to get the right size when mine broke. I just made sure to clean it so I didn't get them in any trouble.
I had the opposite problem. I bought a slide with the stem a little too big, but I sanded it down with some sandpaper until it fit.
