"Double-dipped" LSD?

So a friend of mine says she knows someone (always this friend of a friend shit) who has "double dipped" acid, which I guess means theres twice the dose on a tab as opposed to a normal tab.

Now personally after having to deal with triple-stacked E, I don't believe this at all. I think they're just saying that so they can sell it for 15 bucks a HIT, which is fucking insane.

Is there a such thing?

 

i personally have never heard of such a thing. i thought when you dip it the windowpane or blotter absorbs it. i dont think it can "re-absorb" it but im just using my common sense. sorry that about all i can offer =(

 

Call them out on their bullshit. But hey, maybe they don't even know it's bullshit.

Anyway, it is bullshit because blotter isn't going to become more potent than the solution of LSD it is dipped in. I don't know how to explain this very well, but will make an attempt: pretend that there is a solution that is 10% LSD and 90% something else. If it is dipped in it, then allowed to dry, and finally dipped in it again, then the potency will not increase unless more LSD has been added to the solution.

 

i just not 2 hours ago watched a kid pay a 100 bucks for a 10 strip eagerly... i guess the 2 kids that sold it to him sell singles for 15,of regular doses.. WTF?? when i asked them about it they said college kids will pay the price..

acid is very hard to come by in delaware i drive to ellicot city and get a ten strip for 80 bucks... so when i go to bonnaroo i buy as much as i can.

I am not too sure about the hits being "double-dipped" though. Sounds like a profit scam to me

 

It is a profit scam....dipping blotter twice doesn't do anything, it already absorbed all it can on the 1st dip.

lol and something that would be only 10% pure would be EXTREMELY shitty if not useless lol, I know that was just an example but whatever =P

And yes acid can be very hard to come by in a lot of areas and 10$ a hit usually isn't considered a ripoff but if your buyign a 10-strip I would expect some sort of a price cut...

$10 per hit is pretty standard these days. If you don't think it's worth it, that's fine, but personally I think two hits of acid is worth a whole lot more than two six packs of Guinness, and that's basically what we're looking at here.

As for the "double dipped" thing, it could be total bullshit, but that could just be their way of saying that it's really strong, even if it wasn't actually "dipped" twice. I've heard of people buying stuff that was supposedly "double dipped" or "triple dipped" and it turned out to be really strong stuff.

 

My friend was talking about how he tripped of double-dipped acid a few weeks ago.

 

The extremely rare times LSD is around, it's 10 a hit and 8 strips are 80. No one fucking knows how to take care of it either. Clueless about how it's sensitive to heat, light, and oxygen. Makes for weak hits.

I just don't know if I should pay 15 for a single freakin' hit of acid, unless I tripped nicely off of it.

You're right, that is quite a mark-up, but I don't see anything wrong with selling for $10 per hit when people are happily willing to pay. $15 a hit, that's getting a little ridiculous. But I do see your point.

 

supply and demand sets the price. It was ultra cheap in the past, now the scarcity has driven the price up but still more reasonable than many other street drugs.

"double-dipped" is pure BS. The dealer is either lying or clueless.

 

It's pure BS in a certain sense, but again I think most people say "double dipped" to mean "really strong blotter." So, I still think it's a good sign that the blotter is good.

 

im thinkin of buying some acid. the guy sayed hed give me 5 hits for 15 bucks. is that fair? This would be my first time doing acid and i really dont want to have a bad trip. could you give me some advice on how to avoid a bad trip? thanx

You're 14 (easy target) and the price is too good to be true, don't buy any unless they let you try it first, and you trip off it, but even still I think you're too young to be buying acid anyway.
