I'm gonna have some 5-meo-dmt soon. Obviously I'm going to want to weigh up correct doses but i don't have scales that would be accurate enough. are there other ways of ensuring that i can weigh up correct dosages, like, i dunno, tiny serving spoon-like things... ?
Just put some in your pipe of choice and take as big of a hit as you can... Like you were to tok a bowl of weed, and hold it in for as long as you can. I have done 5mg, 10mg and 15mg doses in the past couple weeks. 15mg was awesome for a nice experience.
preferably i want to measure out doses without putting it into a pipe and smoking it for storage purposes. is eyeballing easy enough? I would have no idea what to eyeball it to, though...
Since I have seen how much 5mg, 10mg, 15mg looks like I could, But if you haven't seen it dosed out it would be hard, IDK. I just took a knife and scooped some up on the tip, and it weighed about 5mg. I would say, the size of this (o) the o in the middle would be a little under 5mg. Do you have any scale at all? even if it doesn't get to the mg, you can weigh out a hundredth (.01) and split it up in equal amounts. If you have a scale that does at least 0.01... I would just eyeball 3 (o) amounts and try that in the pipe. And eyeball those amounts to separate and store into doses if thats what you were wanting to do.
I agree with Raz, those little 0.001g scales on ebay are like $25 shipped from hong kong and pitches up in 10 working days. Ammazingly accurate for the money. Good journey to you in the mean time though.
Yeah, I did need a set of whales, i thought the 0.001 scales might be a wee bit expensive. well, they're not, but i can't find many 0.001 scales that can weigh anything over 30 grams, which isn't too useful when weighing ingredients to bake a cake
people don't seem to understand this with 5-meo-dmt...but you really can't smoke too much. in doses of ~30mg, i feel no dyspepsia, but with the low doses comes extreme confusion and a stomach ache. you really should buy a cheap MG scale, but a dose is a pile of powder about the volume of 3 bb's. [the oldschool metal ones]. melt it into a base pipe, and take either 1 or 2 hits at a time for a moderate dose.
yeah also with a normal milligram scale theres no point in weighing 5 meo dmt even if you had one, eyeball with small amounts until you find a good level. only downside is you never really know what your dosage was, but that doesn't matter.
you also can't be EXACTLY sure how much of the vapor recrystallizes in the pipe, how much is absorbed by your lungs, how much the excessively hot butane lighter destroys, and how much you blow out before it absorbs.
