Here are a few snaps from my 2 and a bit days down in Dorset. My sisters cut the holiday short as they are lightweights and complained that camping was too hard! Next time i go down i will make sure to take the train so i can stay for as long as i like Enjoy Baby bella (my niece) on her first camping trip to the coast Swanage steam railway Corfe Castle Kimmeridge bay
*does a bit of an 'I've been there' dance* Did you stay at Herston yards Farm by any chance? And Bella is a sweetie
Wow that looks pretty.. *adds it to list of places to go when I get time/cash* EDIT: that kid looks a little sunburned but I'm sure she's having fun
I stayed at Downshay Farm which was kinda halfway between corfe and swanage. It was only a 5 minute walk to get to the station to catch the steam train. From the campsite were divine views of the surrounding hills as well as the castle (2miles away). However the ground was slightly slopey so i did wake up a lot in the night! Would definatly reccomend a visit to anyone. Im going to go again for sure!
ooh i've camped near Corfe Castle (for one night) back in March can't remember the name of the campsite though, but the steam train ran right past it
