Yeah, some are more educational. The ones that bother me are the shows that focus more on someone's private life or are designed specifically to make people look like fools.
Dutton ended up getting a 21-month sentence. Apparently he hasn't appeared on the Doomsday Preppers show. http://fox4kc.com/2013/07/18/doomsd...f-unlawful-possession-of-explosive-materials/
Exactly by making people look like fools it makes the home viewing audience feel better about themselves . If you live in a disaster prone area it’s good to have an evacuation plan and emergency supplies but you’re not going to learn anything by watching doomsday preppers. Hotwater
We're all going to die some day, whether we have 1,000,000 hot swapping wives in our basements or not.
How about a reality show called Doomsday Wifeswap, a show where people fabricate end-of-the-world scenarios as an excuse for engaging in fantastic orgies with the spouses of others.
I like The Great Food Truck Race... I can understand why people would go on that one. And Survivor. And The Amazing Race. I can't understand why people would go on the "other type" of reality tv show though... you know, the type like Hoarders and Intervention and The Real Housewives and Toddlers and Tiaras and all the other tons of shit reality shows...
I saw one where they built a house/fort out of shipping containers, which is actually pretty smart as you can keep people out. If anything happens, I have a bunch of weapons and will just hop in a truck and go.
my sister and I have actually considered sending in an audition tape to amazing race. That would be a really cool chance to travel and it doesn't delve too much into your personal life.
