    ..then you go back and edit in a quote of the post you were replying to look less like an idiot


    then you see that you typed a word twice and hurry to edit it again before anyone notices


    then you see transposed letters in the word "before" and hurry up for a third edit

    yep. worst is those threads that get randomly moved to forum games to live for the next several years, or obviously the horrible "list foods you've consumed" threads.

    The secret is to go to the last post first which makes the last post the first post and the first post the last post.
    Then work backward to find out if what you posted has any relation to the first post.

    That way when you're last, you're first and everything that everyone else posted makes no sense at all and you can safely label them as idiots for taking the thread off topic.

    If we all change our settings to view 20 posts at a time, then we can reduce the chances of this happening by 50%.

    I also hate it when I respond to somebody and see that they posted just a few seconds later, and will probably never read what I said to them, which is now above their last post.
